Italy Artists Residency June 2010, International School of Painting in beautiful Montecastello di Vibio, Umbria!  What a wonderful group!   What great work! Highlights:  A big group of my own students from Canada AND lots of returning residents (thank you guys!); 2 shows in he gallery with wonderful work--painting, drawing, collage, assemblage; amazing sunsets; the infiorata--that’s when people in our little town use flower petals to make designs in the street as part of a religious festival--after mass, there’s a procession where they file through through the streets and scatter all the petals; karaoke in the outdoor bar; painting at night on the terrace. Oh, and the food....Some photos:
